Homeowner Association Frequently Asked Questions - Budget
 
 
Do my assessments only cover landscaping?
 
  • No, this is a common misconception. While a portion of assessments go towards landscaping maintenance/repair, assessments also cover several other expenses as well. 
What do my assessments go towards? 
 
  • Each neighborhood has different needs and expenses. Management would encourage homeowners to review the budget for the Master association as well as the budget for your specific neighborhood (Fun fact: there are 16 neighborhoods total throughout the community).
 
How do I access the budgets for my neighborhood?
 
  • We need your eyes on the community! If you notice that there are struggling plants, sod or irrigation that may need attention, kindly reach out to the Management team at info@myholbrookfarms.com and include the address, a short description, and pictures of the problem. The Management team will alert the vendor to come and take a look as soon as possible. If an area of the landscaping is deemed to be damaged by pet waste, this will be the homeowner’s responsibility to repair. 
 Can I opt out of paying assessments?
 
  • No, assessments are deeded with each home in the community and are not optional. If assessment payments are not received in full by the 10th of the month due, the account may be subject to late fees. 
Do assessment amounts change? 
 
  • Yes, assessments can be subject to change based off of added/increased or removed/decreased expenses for the community. 
How do I make payments?
 
  • Please refer to the community website. Under the ‘Homeowners’ tab select ‘Assessments’ and there is information on how to make/schedule payments through Alliance Association Bank.
